I have no affiliation with this raffle and don't certify that it's authentic, but it's one hell of a prize and they appear to have their ducks in a row.
It's to benefit the Tobacco Valley Animal Shelter in Eureka, Montana.
It's 32 acres with waterfront, quite the impressive infrastructure already on the site, two artesian wells, a large foundation, septic, and a small motor home to live in while you figure out how to pay for the buildings to go with all that infra. It's also at 2,600ft of elevation, for all you preppers looking to escape the next deluge.
I've seen similar raffles with impressive prizes, but this is this first one I'm thinking of buying a ticket for. I don't know if I'd even be able to maintain the property... but I'm incredibly jealous that they have all that AND fiber internet. I'd probably buy a $20 raffle ticket just to have a chance for fiber in my little corner of the woods.
Thinking of moving makes me tired, but boy would that be an adventure.
