Representing everything that's wrong with the world

Let's not forget my finely tuned parential instincts of bringing up two kids (and their friends).

I don't dispute that they are hiding things there. They are posing for a picture, so it makes sense to hide things that make the table look messy. Politicians develop an instinct for making things look their best on pictures. Nobody wants to see a used napkin.

Come on, that is obviously a used napkin. It's ridiculous that this got so much traction.

I should have read this thread long ago. At least I would have been aware or had an idea, like a construction area sign warning you to wear a hard hat or use PPEs. Introductions aren't usually so confrontational or long-winded, a sure warning sign to buckle up, wear your helmet, and brace for impact.

Fun book title. I'd recommend it to some people here, mainly the moderator with the giant superiority complex. Me, I've been egregiously wrong as much as the next guy. How about you? What's the biggest thing in politics that you changed your mind about in the last decade? Is there anything? I've found people don't really change their minds anymore.

You're a bit late on the welcome btw, this is more of a post-mortem now. You'll be pleased to know this will remain a cozy little echo chamber for now.
